Kerri A. McDonough is an associate at Mantel McDonough Riso, LLP, and has been practicing matrimonial and family law exclusively since her admittance to the bar. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McDonough was an associate at the matrimonial firm Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP. While in law school, she served as an extern for Administrative Justice Deborah A. Kaplan and the Honorable Matthew F. Cooper, both of whom sat in dedicated matrimonial parts in New York County Supreme Court.
Ms. McDonough received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2019, where she was an Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Hunter College in 2016.
Ashira Pollack is an associate at Mantel McDonough Riso, LLP in the matrimonial department. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Lebovits in Part 7 of the New York State Supreme Court. She also was an Editor of the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Team, which culminated in Ms. Pollack traveling to London with the team to coach them in a competition.
Ms. Pollack received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 2024, where she was an Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media, and Entertainment Law Journal. She received her undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in 2021, graduating summa cum laude.
Sophie Spears is an associate at Mantel McDonough Riso, LLP in the matrimonial department. Ms. Spears is a member of the New York bar and the New Jersey bar. While in law school, she was an intern for the Legal Aid Society in the Family Law and Domestic Violence Unit. She also participated in NYU School of Law’s Federal Appellate Clinic, which culminated in Ms. Spears arguing before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Spears received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 2023, where she was an Editor of the Review of Law and Social Change. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Northwestern University in 2018.
